GenesisPC Shipping & Unboxing Video Policy

Shipping is one of the most important steps in the lifecycle of an online purchase. While we ensure proper packaging and dispatch, the shipping process is handled by third-party courier services and may involve risks or human errors. To protect both our customers and us, we require a proper unboxing video for all orders.

Without an unboxing video, we will not be able to entertain any shipping-related claims (damages, missing items, or wrong product delivery).


Why is the Unboxing Video Important?

  • Courier companies require solid evidence in order to accept any claims for damages or wrong deliveries.

  • An unboxing video provides clear proof of the package condition and the product received.

  • Without it, even obvious issues cannot be validated, making it difficult or impossible to resolve claims.

  • While it may feel like an extra step, it saves significant hassle if a problem arises.

We recommend following this practice not only for GenesisPC orders but for all your online purchases.


Guidelines for Customers

1. Before Accepting Delivery

  • Inspect the package in front of the delivery agent.

  • Ensure the box has not been tampered with, resealed, or damaged.

  • If the shipment appears tampered, take clear photos, reject the delivery, and email us at service@genesispc.in with the images.

    • If verified, your order will be reshipped.

    • If all is fine, delivery will be reattempted the next day.


2. Recording the Unboxing Video

  • Place the camera on a stable surface in a well-lit area.

  • Start recording before opening the package and ensure the video is continuous (no cuts or pauses).

  • Keep the package fully in frame at all times.

The video must include:

  1. Shipping label clearly visible (shows your address, tracking number, and product details).

  2. All sides of the sealed package, showing it has not been opened earlier.

  3. The full opening process, keeping the shipment and product in frame.

  4. The product box condition immediately after opening.

  5. The product itself, verifying that it is correct and undamaged.


3. In Case of Issues

  • Damaged Shipment/Product: Show the damage on both the product box and the product itself in the video.

  • Wrong Product Delivered:

    • Show the box, product label(s), and all sides of the sealed product.

    • Do not break the seal—keep the item exactly as delivered until we provide a solution, if the product is opened and used we may charge a restocking Fee.


Important Notes

  • Any cuts, missing frames, or incomplete videos will not be accepted as valid proof.

  • Do not take the package or product out of frame even for a moment.

  • Claims made without proper video evidence will be rejected.
